It's My Park Day in Perry Park is a Success!

We had a great group of neighbors out to plant, mulch, and clean trails at Perry Park on March 6th for Austin's annual It's My Park Day. What a beautiful day we had to be outdoors!  The trails in the woods are really overgrown and it quickly became apparant that this was an assessment weekend for what lay ahead: more weekends of path clearing and Lantana removal! So get ready for a big push after Spring Break, where we'll be rallying a crowd to remove dead branches and the masses of Lantana that have overtaken the trails.  These terrific HP folks came out to lend a hand, with coffee and pastries donated from Russel's Bakery in hand: Pete, Amy, Grace & Anderson Inman, Shannon & Beck Ratcliff, & little brother,  Debbie, Heath, Hayden, Harper and Hazel Esterak, Karen Shopoff, John, Noah and Owen Rooff, Bart & Sammy Gunkel, Tammie Workman, Michelle, Harrison & William Dike, Dahlia Gutierrez, Ashley Thompson, Monique Munoz, Max Munoz & little brother, Juliee Beyt, Bill Russo, Rick & Olivia Campa, Kathy, Kayla and Alexis Altenbaugh.
